Our Story

We created this light show as our gift to the community.  If you have enjoyed the light show, we hope you will pass this site on to your family and friends, near and far.  Feel free to use our contact page to ask us about any details of the show you don't find on our site. 
I have always enjoyed decorating for Christmas.  It started at my parents house when my dad made a large fireplace and chimney in our front yard out of plywood with Santa Claus coming down the chimney.  That is the first Christmas I can remember decorating.  I have been helping him decorate now for about 20 years I would guess.  Although I no longer live at home with my parents, my dad and I still do much of our light show planning together.  This is a year round hobby, not just a weekend in November where we put a few thousand lights on the house, plug them in and forget about it.  We have about 20,000-30,000 lights on the house.  I spend evenings and weekends throughout the year working on selecting songs, the computer sequencing of the songs, designing and making dispaly items as well as putting together the light controllers.  We usually begin putting up lights November 1st.  My wife and I now have 2 children and enjoy the help they provide in the decorating process making it truly a family affair. 

A few rules to remember when visiting:
1.  Please do not block the driveways on our street
2.  Do not get out of your car
3.  Keep your radio turned down
4.  Give right-of-way to the passing cars
